Irelands National Information Site on the Bologna Process
The Bologna Process is the most important and wide ranging reform of higher education in Europe. The ultimate aim of the Process is to establish a European Higher Education Area by 2010 in which staff and students can move with ease and have fair recognition of their qualifications.
The Higher Education Authority is the National Agency for the Socrates – Erasmus Programme in Ireland. The European Commission has provided funding for the establishment of National Teams of Bologna Promoters. The Socrates-Erasmus National Agency has been allocated funding to support the Promoters and also to develop a national web-site for the Bologna Process in Ireland.
